National Mission Document
Breathe Bharat 2035
A ten-year mission to make India the world's first nation where every citizen knows how to breathe — and where breath is honoured as the foundation of health, education, and public life.
Why India needs this
A health system cannot heal what a culture has forgotten.
India carries the world's largest burden of mental-health disorders, diabetes, hypertension and respiratory illness — diseases driven by chronic dysregulation.
No drug, no policy, no hospital can outrun a billion stressed, sleep-deprived, mouth-breathing citizens. The only intervention powerful enough — and free enough — to reach every Indian is breath.
India is also the civilisation that gave breath to the world. Pranayama is ours. Reviving it is not innovation. It is remembrance.
